The hostel had everything I needed, from a beautiful garden to a cozy lounge area. The free WiFi was a plus, because who doesn't need to check their Instagram in their downtime?
Oh, and let's not forget the lovely surprise of a carbon monoxide detector in my room. Such a thoughtful addition.

Great value for money with a comfortable room and fine ocean view. The location is perfect, close to the ferry terminal, restaurants, and a supermarket. The staff were friendly and helpful, always available when needed.
The breakfast selection could be improved with more variety and fresh options.

We had the best time exploring Madalena with our friends. The hostel had a chill vibe and was super close to all the cool spots. Plus, the rooms were comfy AF and had killer views of the ocean. We even had tea in our room, talk about fancy! it felt like our home away from home.
The only thing I wish was different is that there could have been a sick party vibe at the hostel. Like, a cool hangout area with music and games where we could bond with other young travelers.

the location couldn't have been better - right on the waterfront with easy access to the ferry and rental car pickup. Walking distance to restaurants and attractions made exploring a breeze. The room was clean, spacious, and had a great view. an excellent stay in Madalena.
Kitchen area and fridge needed better maintenance.

It was like staying in a home away from home, with all the comforts we needed. The kids enjoyed the spacious bunk beds and we appreciated the tasteful decor and lovely view. The hostel's family atmosphere was perfect for us, providing a peaceful and welcoming environment where we could relax and enjoy our time together.
My wife says that it would have been even better if there were more kid-friendly activities or a play area for the children.

The hostel was conveniently located near the ferry terminal and had a fantastic view of the ocean and nearby islands from the room. the bed was comfortable and the room well-designed. the kitchen facilities were perfect for preparing meals and the staff were accommodating and friendly.
The staff were a bit shy and lacked in providing recommendations and suggestions for activities in the area.

We absolutely loved the cozy family room at Porto Velho - it felt like our own private cabin with a view! The kids were thrilled with the bunk beds and we couldn't have asked for more comfortable pillows and blankets. The location was perfect for our family adventures on Pico Island.
My wife says that it would have been even better if there was a play area for the children.

The hostel's cozy living room was perfect for spending quality time together, and the fully-equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals for our large family. We loved how the hostel was located right by the marina and restaurants, allowing us to explore the beautiful island of Madalena with ease.
My wife says that a small playground or outdoor space for the kids to play would have been a great addition to the hostel's family-friendly atmosphere.

Excellent location, right next to the port and with a great view. Comfortable bedrooms with private bathrooms. - the price was reasonable.
Lack of cleanliness, with peanut leftovers on the floor and unclean kitchen. Small rooms for four people with only one bathroom, causing a crowded feeling.
